Cordelia is the secondary protagonist of this animated short. I've been calling her a siren, but her design takes from elves, genasi, Magic: the Gathering illustrations of Tritons, Queen Azshara from World of Warcraft, Astrid from How to Train Your Dragon and the colorful pirates of Sea of Thieves.

Originally meant to be a character in a game a friend of mine and I are working on, Cordelia's model turned out so pretty that I wanted to expand on her lore and backstory somewhat, so now she's a pirate bard who plays an enchanted upright bass, and has been friends with Scylla for years. Her finalised design came first, and in fact, when it came time to revise the model to give her facial rigging and redo any textures, all that came to mind was some eye detailing.

I think her original design was very fun, but overall I prefer this look. It's more visually contiguous with Scylla, and makes them read better as people who have traveled in the same circles and shopped at similar places - people with similar life experiences, who just style themselves a bit differently.
